DHS Dragons

The Dallas High School Dragons wrestling program consists of a boys and ladies squad, both known for their competitive spirit, rigorous training, and love for the sport. Competing in the OSAA 5A Division of the Mid-Willamette Conference, our 2023-2024 season marked significant achievements, with the boy's team clinching the state title while the ladies' team secured second place. We celebrated multiple state placers, including two state champions across both men's and ladies' divisions. This past season marked a historical first for Dallas wrestling, a Triple Crown Lady Dragon. We are excited to continue our legacy of success and take pride in being Dragons. This success is a testament to the dedication of all involved and the strong foundational training and cohesion of our programs, laying the groundwork for a dynasty.

LaCreole Middle School Wildcats

Our Middle School program is dedicated to Dallas kids in grades 6-8. In recent years our numbers have grown drastically, and we look forward to another great year of participation.  Our Middle School wrestlers are known as the LaCreole Middle School Wildcats and compete against other local middle school programs.  We also compete at some optional tournaments and state events. Many of our wrestlers start their wrestling careers in middle school and move on to wrestle for the Dallas High School Dragons.

Mat Club

This is where the foundation of Dallas wrestling is laid.  Dallas kids grades K-5 are welcome to register for the mat club. Our club has been operating for decades and continues to grow in size each year.  At our club, kids will learn the fundamentals of wrestling.  We meet the wrestler at their level and build upon that.  The mat club participates in wrestling events throughout the season. It is not an expectation that the wrestlers compete if they do not feel ready to do so.  There will be multiple opportunities for competing aside from just practices. Our coaches are volunteers, and we encourage parent involvement and participation to make this all happen. It takes a village!  We are glad you are considering wrestling with us and welcome you to the Dallas family.
